About us

Weald Pre-School was established as Weald Playgroup in the mid 1960’s by Jo Shotter at Dale Farm, Weald and subsequently moved to St. George’s Church Hall in the early 1970’s where it has remained. We offer a full range of activities to help your child develop socially, physically and intellectually in a safe, caring environment. We have a safe outside play area which we use whenever weather permits as well as plenty of room indoors. Our curriculum includes music and movement, gym and singing during the week as well as covering the six Early Learning Goals. We gear our curriculum to cover the Early Years Foundation Stage working closely with the Reception teacher from Weald CP School.

Weald Pre-School Mission Statement:

The aim of Weald Pre-School is to create a stimulating, safe, friendly and welcoming environment where children have the resources to develop their social, emotional, intellectual and physical skills on an individual basis.

We encourage all the children to express themselves in appropriate ways.
We encourage parents / carers to take an active part in their child’s time at the pre-school.
